Harvest

We recently celebrated Harvest in school, and it was amazing to have so many of our St Paul's families join us for breakfast and our Harvest celebration!

Beacon Alliance Choir Festival

The St Paul's choir sang beautifully at the Beacon Alliance Choir Festival on Friday night. They were a credit to St Paul's in the way they behaved, performed and managed in the extreme heat of the Victoria Hall in Bolton! Thank you to all the parents who came to support us at the concert and all the teachers who helped to organise this event.

Panathlon Bowling Festival!

5 children from across KS2 took part in the Panathlon bowling event in Bury. We had a player who scored over 100 points and our team placed within the top 5 overall.

Harvest!

Today, we enjoyed a Harvest assembly led by Father Sam followed by a special lunch prepared by the kitchen - including pumpkin-shaped biscuits! And at the end of the day, every family received a Harvest gift bag.

Sports Day!

We recently had sports day, and what a great day it was! All of our children joined in, taking part in a huge number of different sporting challenges and having so much fun! Parents joined us for the afternoon to encourage their children. A super sporty day!

Super Athletes!

Some of our junior children recently took part in an athletics competition and did us proud! They followed instructions quickly, the listened well, they showed everyone how well we behave at St Paul's and, of course, they tried their best in all the events!

Well done team! You made us proud!

WicketBall!

This week, six of our fabulous Year 6 attended a Bury School Games Inspire Wicket Ball competition. They had never played the sport and knew nothing about it, but were keen to get stuck in!  They played with passion, determination and good ‘sportspersonship’. Both Mr Purdey and Mr Whittaker were incredibly proud of them.

We were pipped to second place, losing out by just one point, but were very happy to win a bronze medal!
Fit Friday

On Friday 29th April, we had a Fit Friday! Our theme for April was Being Active and at the end of the month, all the children and adults in school came in sportswear and spent time in the afternoon warming up, completing the Daily Mile on our field and being active!
